![]() Through volunteering at the Lakeview Pantry, guests are able to give back to those in need and are able to make a difference in the community. LPCS guests participated in assisting clients with groceries, in the clothing closet, and restocking shelves. Last year, the Lakeview Pantry distributed over a million pounds of food to over 28,000 clients. Currently, a handful of guests volunteer their time helping at the Lakeview Pantry through the GIVE program. ![]() From PAWS to the National Runaway Switchboard, guests are encouraged to find something they are passionate about. As part of their stay at LPCS, guests volunteer their time at various organizations around Chicago, giving back to the community that gives so much to them. In the spring of 2006, to honor of the work of LPCS’ volunteers, the guests of LPCS started the GIVE program: Guests In Volunteer Experience.
